Field Trip Crew travels the 5 boroughs (and sometimes New Jersey too!) visiting Cultural institutions, Art Studios, Factories, sewage treatment plants, beaches and parks.

We learn how to navigate public transportation in the city via Bus, Tram, Train, and Ferry.

Over the last 14 years field trip crew has been on hundreds of field trips, come join us for our 25-26 season!

Fall hiking club

Join us for 10 hikes this fall in the Tri-State Area.  

We’ll travel by Van leaving from Litchfield Villa at PPW and 5th Street and travel to hikes in the Hudson Highlands, Harriman/Bear Mountain park, New Jersey, Connecticut and sometimes Pennsylvania.    

Ages 6-18 Parents/Guardians/Caregivers welcome as well.

Cost: $1200 for 10 hikes. Rainouts refunded or credit given for other BAA drop in days.

In 2021 we launched our first Van field trip day as an alternative for folks who were not ready to go back on the trains due to the Pandemic. It ended up being one of the most popular BAA offerings of all time. This year we are offering van field trips on Thursdays with Amy Carrigan

Last year we traveled all over the tri-state area, visiting mountains, mines, caves, waterfalls, and farther flung historical sites and museums.  Join us for another year of adventures!
